Hello all,
I'm working on a site now where the client requested that his site's members be able to upload images from the website's frontend, so this plugin was a great find!  However, I'm hoping someone can help me figure out how to hack it up a little!
For the record: I'm using WordPress 2.8.3 (upgrade coming soon!)  NextGen Gallery 1.4.1, NextGen Public Uploader 1.4, and NextGen Custom Fields 1.0.
I read through all the posts in this forum, and it looks like Scott has had his hands full with feature requests, etc.  One of the recent features he added was the ability to add a description when uploading an image.  I am needing to take it one step further…
Another plugin, NextGen Custom Fields, allows you to store other info with each image (for example- who took the picture, the date the picture was taken, etc.) I've got it installed and working well with my blog, but I can only update these fields from the backend, after I've already uploaded each picture.  However, I want our site's members to be able to flil in those other boxes when they're adding an image with the NextGen Public Uploader.  It seems like this should be possible, especially now that we can add a description when uploading.  But unfortunately, I don't know how to hack this myself – so I'm really hoping one of you might help me figure it out!
Thanks,
Joey

Hey Joey,
I'd love to help out. Been super busy with other work and have not had much time to make updates on the plugin itself. Send me an email at scott@webdevstudios.com. I'll take a look at NextGEN Custom Fields as well.
Thanks!
