I have the plugin set up on a site and once you click on the link in the registration verification email it allows the user to login without the admin approving the new registration. Why is this happening, isn't that the whole point of the plugin?

This doesn't help you out much, but I would implore the developer to PLEASE answer some of these questions.  I realize it's a free plugin, but still, seems like courtesy.
The only reason I use this plugin is to deal with spam registrations – I've pretty much given up trying to stop spam, so the least I can do is make sure spam doesn't show up on the site.  For me, the biggest thing is that new registrations show up in the activity stream.
Please get back about the ETA on a new release.

I thought I had the same problem and then realised that although the new user could login they couldn't do anything such as visiting groups.  After the approval was given then they were able to use the site. Hope that helps.

<div>
I have the latest version, but the new members are still appearing in 'recent members' and their profiles are viewable before approval. Is there a setting I am not seeing or something?
 Thanks for the help!
