Your category mapped link is hidden by the Maintenace Mode plugin so I can't view it.  There are some bugs with this plugin and WPMU 2.8.2.  I plan on pushing up an update shortly to fix these issues.

I have the same problem. I'm not using a Maintenance Mode plugin, as far as I can tell. I installed the Category Mapping plugin in WP MU 2.8.4. Then I activated it. [I also noticed an option on the right to activate this for all blogs. I checked that at one point, but later removed it. That was confusing. Do I need to activate it on the sub-blogs for it to work? I decided probably not so I backed out of that.]
Next, I mapped a category in a sub-blog to the main blog. So far, so good. Except that when I click on the category in the main blog, I get no actual posts: Looks like this:
<small> by </small>
<p class=”postmetadata”>Posted in Uncategorized | <span>Comments Off</span>
<div id=”post-0″ class=”post- hentry”><small> by </small>
<p class=”postmetadata”>Posted in Uncategorized | <span>Comments Off</span>
</div>

That's confusing. Where did the actual content of the posts go?
